The Idea

The idea of LifeArt came from a group of people with disabilities who believe that the way to change negative stereotypes is to contribute positively in the community. By providing this service as well as volunteering in many of the area’s festivals, folks are meeting each other in very natural circumstances and many barriers are dissolved!

Activities include: Craft classes, beading workshops, yoga, karaoke, group singing, drumming, advocacy group, budgeting, cooking classes, diabetes workshops, women’s and men’s groups, fun nights, Saturday matinees, and much more.
